Σχετικά με αυτό το ξενοδοχείο

Apollon Rooms 2 keeps the beach close, four minutes on foot, while adding a spa to the mix for downtime between village walks and boat trips out to the nearby islets. The Sulphur Mine and the Catacombs of Milos, two of the island's more unusual landmarks, sit a 13-kilometre drive off, a fitting day trip for anyone based in Pollonia's quieter north-side setting rather than the busier Adamas port. Rooms include air conditioning, private bathrooms and free WiFi as standard, with family rooms offering the extra floor space larger groups need across a full week, plus a tour desk on site for arranging the Sulphur Mine and Catacombs trip in advance.

Η άποψή μας

This suits families wanting a short beach walk and a spa on site, with easy reach of Milos's landmark sites for a day away from the water when the routine needs a change. The distance to the Sulphur Mine and Catacombs means a car is useful, worth arranging ahead of arrival. Travellers without transport should weigh the 13-kilometre trip before planning that detour, since public options this far from Adamas run less frequently than in the main port town.

  • ✓Walk to Pollonia Beach in the morning before the day-trip boats start loading
  • ✓Book a car or tour for the Sulphur Mine and Catacombs, both sit 13 kilometres out
  • ✓Use the spa on the day set aside for the longer landmark trip

Γιατί το λατρεύουν οι επισκέπτες

The beach walk at four minutes made mornings easy, and the spa was a welcome addition on the day we drove out to see the Catacombs of Milos, an unexpected highlight of the whole trip that none of us had planned for. The Sulphur Mine landscape was unlike anything else we saw on the island, all strange colours and bare rock. A well-placed base for combining Pollonia's beach life with Milos's stranger landmarks, and one we'd recommend to anyone curious beyond the usual beach routine.
