We drove out to see the Catacombs of Milos one afternoon, an unusual and worthwhile detour from the usual beach routine that the kids still talk about. The sea view from the studio held up well through the stay, never blocked by anything closer to the water. A straightforward, well-placed choice for the village that did everything we asked of it without a single issue.

Everything about the stay felt considered, from the spa treatments to the three-minute walk to the beach each evening before dinner along the waterfront. Pollonia's quieter pace compared to Adamas made this feel like a proper retreat rather than a base for running errands between beaches and the port. The rating held up entirely once we arrived, no gap between the reviews and the reality of the stay. Worth the longer airport transfer for the payoff, and we'd book the same room again without hesitation.

The five-star finish showed in the details, from the spa treatments to the sea-view suite itself, a genuine step up from the studio-style stays tried elsewhere on Milos. Being right on the pebble beach meant no walk was needed for a morning swim, just a few steps from the terrace to the water. Pollonia's quieter pace compared to Adamas made the stay feel like a genuine escape rather than a base for running around the island. Worth the premium for the finish alone.
