Xanemos Studios has been recently renovated, aparthotel units with balconies and private bathrooms that feel notably fresher than some of the town's older studios. Each unit includes a refrigerator, shower, TV and wardrobe as standard, and a lift makes upper-floor family rooms accessible without stairs. The location works well too, 400 metres to Skiathos' Port and a five-minute walk to Papadiamantis' House, with Skiathos Plakes Beach a slightly longer thirteen-minute walk and Skiathos Castle 2.1 kilometres out for a longer excursion. Common areas stay simple rather than elaborate, in keeping with the size of the property. None of this is flashy, but it covers what a short island stay actually needs.
