Vira Vivere sits in Plaka, the whitewashed hilltop chora that serves as Milos's capital, built on a ridge with views that stretch out over the surrounding countryside toward the sea, distinct from the port-level outlook in Adamas below. The houses keep the Cycladic style throughout, narrow lanes and blue-shuttered walls, with a spa on site and the five-kilometre drive down to the port a manageable trip for ferry days at either end of a stay.
