Hotel Akti overlooks Skiathos Yacht Harbor directly, scenic rooms opening onto private balconies with views either toward the sea or the town centre, some fitted with exposed wooden beams that give the property a more traditional character than the town's newer aparthotels. Rooms are air-conditioned with a TV and refrigerator, en-suite bathrooms fitted with a hairdryer as standard. The central position puts the bus terminal, shops and bars within easy walking distance, and Skiathos Island National Airport sits roughly 1.5 kilometres away for arrivals and departures. Common areas stay simple rather than elaborate, in keeping with the size of the property. None of this is flashy, but it covers what a short island stay actually needs.
