Anemoessa, named for the wind the Cyclades are known for, keeps its studios close to the water: three minutes to Pollonia Beach, sea views built into most rooms, and the fishing village's front-row tavernas within the same short walk from the studio door. The island's stranger landmarks, the Sulphur Mine and the Catacombs of Milos, sit a further 13 kilometres off, worth the drive for a change of scenery from the beach when the routine calls for something different. Studios come with air conditioning, a kitchenette, private bathrooms and free WiFi throughout, useful for anyone wanting to self-cater at least a few meals during the stay, with a coffee machine included for slower mornings before the beach.
