Our take
This suits couples who want an adults-only retreat with a pool that stays open all year and a bath under the sky, a few minutes from the sea. The balconies face garden or mountain rather than the water. If you need a private plunge pool on your terrace, ask the hotel which suites offer one before booking.
- ✓Ask which rooms sit closest to the pool and open-air bath, since the answer changes from one suite to another.
- ✓Use the pool outside summer, when it stays open and the hotel is quieter.
- ✓Walk to Valtos Beach in four minutes in the morning, then return for the pool and breakfast.
