Our take
This suits families and longer stays that want to cook and keep a car at the door, in a central position with a garden. Staff cover four languages, which helps visitors from several countries. It has no pool or restaurant listed, so choose a larger hotel if you want those. The castle is 800 metres away, an easy evening walk.
- ✓Ask for a ground-floor unit if you travel with luggage, a stroller or a relative who prefers fewer stairs.
- ✓Use the private check-in for a late arrival, and message the reception in German, Greek, English or Italian.
- ✓Shop for breakfast supplies on arrival, since the fully equipped kitchen makes self-catering simple.
