Madaky sits in the thick of central Naousa, close enough that the seaside bars and traditional taverns start within 100 metres of the front door. Rooms lean bright and simple rather than styled, decorated in strong colour with a private bathroom, TV, safe and refrigerator; some carry air conditioning or open onto a balcony, worth checking at booking if either matters. The outdoor swimming pool gives an alternative to the three-minute walk to Piperi Beach on days the sea feels like too much effort, and the lounge with its internet corner covers anyone needing to work during the stay. Parikia, the island's main port, is ten kilometres south, a manageable day-trip distance rather than a walk.
