Our take
I would choose Eligia Suites for a family that wants to stay inside Ioannina's centre and cook some meals in. The apartments have a kitchen, a dining table and a sofa bed for an extra sleeper, and the castle is a two-minute walk. There is no restaurant or pool, so I would pick it for exploring the city rather than for resort days. Express check-in keeps arrival easy.
