The walk into central Argostoli takes under fifteen minutes along the water, and the cosmopolitan beaches of Platis Yialos and Makris Yialos sit within a mile and a half for an afternoon swim, close enough for a quick trip back for lunch before returning to the pool by mid-afternoon.
