Studios Nina
Sea-view kitchenette studios in Amoopi Bay
About this hotel
Studios Nina keeps to a simple format among Amoopi's more elaborate resorts: sea-view rooms, kitchenettes, and a garden, without the restaurant or spa extras of the bay's bigger hotels. Family rooms make this workable for groups on a tighter budget, and the self-catering setup suits travellers who'd rather cook with a view than pay resort prices for dinner. The bay's beach and its neighbouring hotels' facilities are all within walking or short driving distance regardless. Guests who value that kind of setting over a resort-scale amenity list tend to rate this property highest, since the location itself does most of the work. It is the sort of detail that only shows up once you are actually staying there, not something a quick listing photo fully captures beforehand.

Our take
Budget-conscious families wanting Amoopi Bay's sea views without resort pricing will find Studios Nina a sensible, simple base. Travellers wanting an on-site restaurant or spa should book one of the larger properties in the same bay instead. Anyone wanting a bigger resort with more organised amenities should look elsewhere on the island instead.
- ✓Cook in the kitchenette to keep costs well below the bay's resort hotels
- ✓Use the garden for a quiet breakfast before the beach
- ✓Walk to the neighbouring hotels' beach access if needed

Why guests love itA simple, no-frills studio with a real sea view and a kitchenette that got daily use. It doesn't have the extras of the bigger hotels nearby, but the price reflected that, and we didn't miss what we didn't pay for. The garden was a nice quiet spot most mornings. Small details like that ended up mattering more than the room itself by the end of the stay.
