Aella Residence gives guests two directions to choose from at booking: garden or sea, and the difference is worth weighing since the sea-view rooms look straight out over the Aegean while the garden units face the freshwater pool and its wooden sun loungers instead. Both share the same handmade beds and orthopedic mattresses, air conditioning and a fridge, with some rooms adding hydromassage facilities for a longer soak after the beach. The poolside bar covers drinks and coffee through the day, and a buffet breakfast is served in the dining area each morning. Naousa's centre, with its restaurants and shops, sits 400 metres off, while Parikia Port is a ten-kilometre drive south for anyone island-hopping onward.
